Seymour Duncan's Woody series of pickups are designed to slot inside the soundhole of an acoustic guitar enabling you to plug your acoustic into an amplifier. There is no bodywork required in installing the pickup and it can be removed or installed at will. The tone is warm and rich with no 60-cycle hum, great for strumming and delicate fingerstyle playing.
Excellent if you have an old acoustic that you can't plug in, but don't want to damage or modify a prized guitar - or have to buy a brand new electro-acoustic! Simply slot inside the soundhole and you're away.
Seymour Duncan offers three choices in the Woody Series, but all have the commonality of instant mounting and unmounting, along with a great-looking Walnut cover that will look unobtrusively fantastic on your guitar. More importantly, if you already love the sound of your acoustic, the Woody Series will passively amplify your sound without anything to detract from it.
