The trouble with most audio cables is that they have just two conductors – a single solid core center conductor that carries the positive charge and a braided outer wire that carries both the ground signal and acts as a shield against RF (Radio Frequency) and EM (Electro-Magnetic) noise. The problem with this design is that mixing RF and EM noise with the ground signal wire pollutes the audio signal.

Many high-end audio cable manufacturers avoid this problem by using two independent wire conductors – one for the positive and another for the negative – and surrounding these with a separate outer RFI and EMI shield. Triple Shielding Rejects Noise

To reject noise and interference from inside the cable and the outside room, Pangea Premier interconnects are triple-shielded. Each conductor has its own foil shield and then the entire cable is encased in separate foil and braided shields.

Insulating the Cardas Copper conductor is advanced PE foam insulation. PE is one of the best commercially available insulators and was chosen because it has a smooth, relaxed sound. Another benefit is its superior flexibility.
