Detail
The Ibanez PS60 Paul Stanley Signature electric guitar's features and tone mirror the artist who helped design it. With a larger-than-life stage presence and a repertoire of classic rock anthems, KISS rose to fame in the '70s, becoming one of rock 'n' roll's biggest acts. In 1976, Ibanez approached KISS's frontman, Paul Stanley, to create a signature guitar that would become his signature instrument. In 1977, when Stanley and Ibanez began designing his signature guitar, they aimed for a unique design. However, while browsing the Ibanez catalog, Stanley was drawn to the Artist 2663, later known as the "Iceman," for its distinctive asymmetrical shape and body style, which he chose as the template for his signature instrument. The maple neck offers stability and a bright tonal character, while the purpleheart fretboard enhances the guitar's beauty and rich tonal quality. The Ibanez Infinity pickups provide an accurate, tight sound with excellent dynamics, maintaining tonal clarity even under heavy settings.
