The Celebrity series marks the entry into Ovation's world, offering Roundback originals at appealing prices. These instruments boast mainly solid spruce or cedar tops, stabilized with Scalloped Quartersawn X-Bracing for optimal sound. All Celebrity series guitars feature a Nato neck and come in Mid-Depth or Super Shallow Lyrachord body versions. Electro-acoustic processing begins with an Ovation Slimline pickup at the bridge, enhanced by a serrated bridge inlay for even sound. An Ovation OP4BT preamp with 3-band EQ and built-in tuner refines the signal. The series is divided into Traditional and Elite lines, distinguished by soundhole types. Each Celebrity guitar comes factory-fitted with high-quality Adamas or Hannabach strings.
