Key of G alto version of the russian ethnic fipple flute svirel. Two octaves range. Deep round pure tone in the lower octave, the second is a bit airier. Medium to low backpressure (may need a bit of a push in the upper octave), good response. Medium volume. Not for big session. Will be good for domestic playing and playing in duo or trio. The scale is diatonic with two additional holes on the back side to play flat 3rd and flat 7th. May be used as common irish low whistle (you can cover the back holes with scotch tape etc). Wooden tuning slide with buffer plastic ring. Lightweight.
