The scale is chromatic with holes for all 10 fingers. 8 holes on the front side and 2 holes on the back. With that you get all 12 semitones and you can play any music in any key (not all are comfortable, though) within two octaves. The fingering is common with that of the ukrainian sopilka but the fipple design is different. Medium backpressure, good response. Nice round woodsy tone. Medium volume.
