Construction
The Gretsch G5420T 6-string guitar features a laminated maple body with a classic ‘C’-shaped glossy maple neck featuring a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. This right-handed electric model features FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups and has versatile upgraded controls including master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls for bridge and neck and a three-position pickup toggle switch. It has oversized bound F holes and multi-ply body binding. It also features smaller late-’50s G6120 bound headstock and vintage style open-back tuning machines. The G5420T has Graph Tech NuBone nut and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece. The Adjusto-Matic bridge features a secured laurel base. This Gretsch model is available in a stunning Two-Tone Anniversary Green finish topped with nickel hardware for a beautiful look.
