Detail
Suitable for experienced bassists, especially those who enjoy octave fuzz tones. Because the "noise" of fuzz is a musical "texture", while faulty noise is a destructive "interference"—and this is exactly what rock music pursues.
- Bass tone adjustment change 2 different frequency by toogle switch.
- SUB OCTAVE can be turned on/off independently, SUB OCTAVE Knob controls the volume of Sub octave signal.
- Two modes of fuzz effects can be switched by toggle switch.
- This allows tone to switch between different sounds, adding more variety to the playing.
- Power supply: DC 9V is NOT included in the package.
- JOYO original power supply or other reliable brands to reduce noise and damage.
- Beginners should first set Fuzz knob to the 9 o'clock position (mild fuzz): This retains bass's low frequencies and clarity, making it suitable for practicing "keeping notes clean in distortion".
- Turning it clockwise will increase distortion. However, beyond the 3 o'clock position, tone becomes overly "ragged", which is easy for beginners to lose control. It is recommended to practice within the low to medium range first.(Do not max out the Fuzz at the start, as high distortion will amplify noise)
Does this pedal work for Bass?
Yes, designed for Bass. Some people may misunderstand inherent background noise in distorted fuzz tones, mistaking it for an pedal issue; however, for die-hard fuzz enthusiasts, this very background noise is precisely unique tone they seek.
Does this pedal come with the power supply or adapter?
No, both are not included. JOYO mutli-tipped 9V adapter and power supply with noise reduction technology. Because an incompatible power supply may cause the noise, pedal damage, can't turn on, powered but can't work properly.
How to distinguish Hiss,Crackling & Buzzing?
1.Hiss arises from high-gain settings. Adjust gain or volume to reduce excessive drive, djust position of guitar.
2.Crackling is caused by poor connection or shielding of cables.
3.Buzzing: Poor guitar shielding or Pickups. Turn off the pickup.
Advanced Guide for Guitarists - How to Eliminate Hiss,Crackling & Buzzing?
(1)Disconnect all pedals, plug guitar directly into the am, and check noise. (2)Use an isolated power supply. (3)Test cables and grounding. (4)Keep away from electronic interference. (5)Optimize pedalchain: reposition pedals or add noise gate.
What should we do if the pedal does not work?or other problem?
For beginners, set reasonable parameters, solving power supply and grounding issues, then optimize signal chain. While completely eliminating electrical noise is impossible, scientific debugging can significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
