The Sheepdog SIERRA is a heavy-duty, quick disconnect (QD) remote speaker microphone (shoulder mic) with a 3.5mm earpiece port and high impact, water-resistant, rubber sealed polycarbonate housing. This mic is designed and engineered for Military, Police, Fire and EMTs, utilizing the toughest of construction practices. The SIERRA is outfitted with a Kevlar reinforced, polyurethane jacketed coiled cable and ultra-durable strain relief. SD mic cables are military-grade and engineered to provide extended life and retain original shape. The housing allows for heavy-duty use in rugged and/or wet environments. The SIERRA includes a large Push-To-Talk (PTT) button which is easy to locate even while wearing gloves or during high-stress situations. The spring loaded, metal reinforced clothing clip rotates 360 degrees, allowing the user to configure and secure the mic to their uniform or tactical, load-bearing vest and body armor. The SIERRA is built with a premium electret condenser mic element that transmits clear, 10-2 audio. The high-output speaker is loud and produces clear receive audio. The SIERRA includes a 3.5mm listen only earpiece port, allowing for private communications with dispatch or other team members. Quick Release Adapter included.
